Is a Costa Rican Performance Trip Operator specialized in artistic and cultural travel, created with the purpose of bringing together music, nature, and people through unique, authentic, and transformative experiences. We focus especially on musical groups — choirs, orchestras, bands, and ensembles — that wish to combine artistic performances with the discovery of Costa Rica’s natural and cultural richness.
My name is Dania. I’m the daughter of a visionary choral conductor who devoted his life to music in a country where choral singing had not yet found its voice. My mother is a passionate singer and a children’s choir director. Music runs deep in my family—my brother also followed this path as a pianist and choral conductor.
I have spent my entire life working in the tourism industry. It was there that I discovered the powerful connection between two of my greatest passions: music and cultural exchange. From that union, Forest Melodies was born—a project that has grown every year since 2018, bringing choirs and music groups to Costa Rica to experience the beauty of our country while contributing to something greater.

Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a country located in Central America that is ranked as one of the most visited international destinations. One of Costa Rica’s main sources of income is tourism. Costa Rica is a democratic and peaceful country and it has not had an army since the year 1949.
Although the country is small and it covers only 0.03 percent of the surface of the globe, it proudly shelters 5 percent of the existing biodiversity in the entire world. Twenty six percent of the country is composed of conservation and natural protected territory.
In addition, Costa Rica has the unique privilege of offering a wide variety of forests. Visitors can explore dry forests, rainforests, and mystical cloud forests. Its strategic location also gives the country the rare advantage of being bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the East and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
Costa Rica is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world; it contains about 5% of the world’s species. The lush wild natural environment can be experienced all throughout the country and is easily accessible to the curious visitor. Costa Rica is a safe paradise.
